I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
